These terms apply to your use of sunshinecoastconcretingco.com.au (the site) and to any enquiry you make through it. Please read section 2 carefully, because it explains what we are and what we are not.
This site is operated under the business name Sunshine Coast Concreting Co. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean Sunshine Coast Concreting Co.
We are a marketing and lead-referral service. We are not a concreter and we do not carry out concreting work.
To be specific about this:
What we actually do: when you make an enquiry, and with your express consent, we pass your details to an independent concreter servicing your area. That business contacts you directly. Any quote, booking, contract and payment for the work is between you and that business, not us.
We may receive a fee from a concreter in connection with referring your enquiry to them. That arrangement is between us and them. It does not change what you pay, and you are never charged by us.
We want to be clear that this means we have a commercial interest in referring enquiries. We do not hold ourselves out as an impartial comparison or review service, and we do not rank or recommend concreters based on independent testing or assessment.
When you submit an enquiry you agree that the details you give us are accurate, and that you are authorised to give us the contact details you provide. We ask for your express consent before passing your details to a concreter. You can decline. If you decline, we will not refer your enquiry, and no concreter will contact you as a result of it.
How we handle your personal information is set out in our Privacy Policy.
The concreter you deal with is an independent business. We do not supply their services, and we are not a party to your agreement with them.
We do not independently verify or guarantee a concreter's qualifications, licences, insurance or suitability for your job. You should check the credentials and insurance relevant to the work before accepting a quote. We cannot and do not guarantee the quality, timing, price, safety or lawfulness of any concreter's work. If something goes wrong with your job, your dispute is with that business, and your rights under the Australian Consumer Law apply against them as the supplier of those services.
Please tell us anyway. We want to know if a concreter we referred you to has let you down.
Our guides and service pages are general information to help you work out what you need. They are not advice for your specific situation, and they are not a substitute for advice from a qualified concreter.
Requirements vary by council and by site. Approvals, engineering and licensing depend on your specific property. Check with your council and with your concreter before work starts. Do not rely on this site as your only source.
Any cost information on this site is indicative and is not a quote or an offer. Only a concreter can quote you a price.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), including the Australian Consumer Law, or any other law, where doing so would be unlawful.
To the extent we do supply anything to you (for example, the referral service itself), our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
Subject to section 7, and to the extent permitted by law:
We do not limit our liability for fraud, or for any liability that cannot be limited at law.
You may use this site for your own use in finding a concreter. You may not scrape it, copy its content for republication, submit false enquiries or other people's contact details without their authority, or interfere with the site.
The content and design of this site are owned by us or our licensors.
We may update these terms. The current version is always on this page, with the date it was last updated at the top. The version that applies to your enquiry is the one published when you made it.
These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and you and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.
